ABOUT ME

My name is Prentice Gerald Outlaw, aka Jerry Outlaw. I moved from NC to FL in 1984 to pursue a career in music. Since then I have become a well known artist in the Tampa Bay area and I have toured the world playing music of all kinds. Although I specialize in rock and heavier music, versatility is my hallmark as I have much experience playing different styles of music throughout my career ranging from Blues, Country/Southern, Rock, Reggae, Surf, Heavy Metal, Funk, Hip Hop/Rap, Electronic, Pop, Progressive, Experimental/Rock/Jazz/Classical/Fusion, etc. all the while excelling in my improvisational skills. My band Bogus Pomp has played sold out performances of Frank Zappa's music with the Florida Orchestra and concerts with the Buffalo Philharmonic and the Bogus Pomp Orchestra. I have toured America, Europe and beyond with Jon Oliva's Pain, Bogus Pomp and even the Genitorturers (early 90s).

I also produce music for cable television on shows like Addictive Fishing, FLW Fishing Tournaments, Truck Universe and versatile voice-overs for commercials and multimedia.

I am currently writing and performing with Jon Oliva's Pain ~ Bogus Pomp ~ Jerry Outlaw & friends ~ the HubbTones ~ and a new project with renowned bassist, Alex Webster (Cannibal Corpse).

I use and/or fully endorses these fine products and services with clinic/performances and shameless self-promotion...
